This Privacy Policy describes how Tackboard ("the App"), developed by Vincent Chiu, handles your information.
Tackboard stores your notes, boards, tags, attachments, and voice memos locally on your device. If you're signed into iCloud, this content syncs across your devices using Apple's iCloud/CloudKit service. Vincent Chiu does not operate any servers that store or have access to your note content — it is stored and synced entirely through your own Apple ID and Apple's iCloud infrastructure, governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
The free version of Tackboard displays ads served by Google AdMob. Tackboard requests only non-personalized ads, meaning ads are not based on your interests or browsing history. Google may still collect limited technical information (such as device type and general request data) necessary to serve and measure ads. This data is handled according to Google's Privacy Policy.
If you purchase a "Remove Ads" subscription or the Lifetime option, the transaction is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. Tackboard does not receive, process, or store your payment information — this is handled under Apple's Privacy Policy.
Tackboard is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your notes remain in your iCloud account under your control. Deleting the app removes local data on that device; content already synced to iCloud can be managed or deleted through your device's iCloud settings.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
